Did the Arizona Cardinals miss out on anyone by taking Haason Reddick?

The Arizona Cardinals took Haason Reddick at 13, did they miss out on anyone else?

With the Cardinals selecting Haason Reddick with the 13th pick we look at what were the other options the Arizona Cardinals had at 13 and if Haason Reddick was the best choice.

The Cardinals main needs in this draft were ILB, CB, S, WR, and a future QB. So, who were the other options?

We start with Jonathan Allen, a DL, but considered by many as one of the top players in the draft. With Calais Campbell leaving for Jacksonville, the Cardinals could have used another DL even though that wasn't one of their top needs. Was the shoulder issue a problem for them? Or was Reddick too good to pass up?

Reuben Foster is next. The ILB from Alabama was a stud in college and considered a sideline-to-sideline type of player. This was one of the Cardinal's needs even though they just signed Dansby, but Dansby is 35 years old and only has a few more years left if that. Foster could have been the replacement for Kevin Minter. The diluted sample where he failed his drug test may have been too much for the Cardinals so they wanted to go elsewhere.

The last option for the Cardinals at 13 could have been one of the few available offensive players. This 2017 draft was a strange one where you have 7 of the top 10 picks being offensive players, however there was still a ton of immense talent remaining in the class defensively. The Cardinals didn't have a chance to choose Mike Williams, Corey Davis, or the 3 QB's.

I am content with the Cardinals selection of Reddick, it gives the Cardinals a pass rusher to rotate with Jones and Golden and have him even play inside. Even though they could have had an instant starter in Reuben Foster. The Cardinals get a high motor type of player that never seems to take a play off.

I honestly believe Reddick will be playing day one and there will be no redshirting for him this year. It’s time for the Cardinals to start focusing on the other positions of need in the next few rounds.

How do Cardinal's fans feel about the selection at 13? Do you think the Cardinals chose the best player available?
