When the Arizona Cardinals went on the clock with the 13th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, they question became... which defensive player will they draft?
When the Cardinals announced that Temple linebacker Haason Reddick was the pick, there was a definite excitement from the fanbase.
Reddick offers the Cardinals a young, aggressive, and athletic linebacker with upside. He will be making a transition from defensive end in college to inside linebacker in the NFL, but his athletic ability will make that transition a little less bumpy.
He has to learn the ins and outs of playing as an inside backer, especially in the Arizona Cardinals aggressive 3-4 defensive that asks for the linebackers to make most of the plays, but he has the look of a player ready for that task.
It is exciting to see the Cardinals add such a talented and uniquely athletic player to that side of teh ball.
