The NFL Draft never ends, look at the fact that we will have a 2018 mock draft in our midst this time Sunday/Monday.
However, mock drafts are fun and getting into round two and three of mock drafts can be where you really lay the foundation of excellence for your team for years to come.
Here are a couple of mock drafts from around the web and who they have the Arizona Cardinals taking on day two.
45. Arizona Cardinals
Davis Webb, QB, California: Quarterback was wiped out in the first round for Arizona, making Webb a Plan B in Round 2.
No. 45 Arizona Cardinals: Davis Webb, QB, California
Webb loves to study (the son of a coach, he'd eventually like to coach himself). He’ll learn for a year or two under one of the best in Carson Palmer.
No. 77 Arizona Cardinals: Carl Lawson, OLB, AuburnHe’s had some durability issues, but when he’s on, he looks like a first-round-caliber pass rusher. Lawson could become that third rusher in Arizona, with Chandler Jones and Markus Golden.
45. Arizona Cardinals- Deshone Kizer, Quarterback, Notre Dame: Despite being incredibly gifted, Kizer fell out of the first due to inconsistency. Coming into an environment where he can sit and learn from a great coaching staff will be valuable.
77. Arizona Cardinals- Jake Butt, Tight End, Michigan: Jake Butt’s injury pushed him down in the draft, but he would be a nice piece in a the Cardinals passing game.
Sounds like everyone thinks the Arizona Cardinals are going quarterback in round two. What do you think?
