For the Arizona Cardinals, the third round is the money round and they did it again with a small school kid, as they select Chad Williams a wide receiver from Grambling.

Many may be wondering why Williams, but he turned heads with his impressive work at the Senior Bowl, something that affected the Arizona Cardinals first round pick, Haason Reddick as well.

Williams has a 4.43 40 yard dash at 6-1 203lbs. He is a bigger type Arians receiver, he is a bigger, physical guy in a smaller wide receiver body.

He also put up staggering numbers while at Grambling:

2016: 90 REC 1337 YDS 14.9 AVG 11 TD

Career: 210 REC 3062 YDS 14.6 AVG 29 TD in 47 games

Williams is a strong, fast receiver who plays with an edge and dominated the small-school ranks. He performed well in Senior Bowl practices as well.

The biggest concern is, he was not invited to the NFL Combine because of off field issues.

Per Josh Weinfuss:

Chad Williams was suspended for Grambling's season opener last season because of an arrest in May for possession of marijuana, possession of firearm with drugs, fugitive from justice and an outstanding bench warrant.

If he can keep his nose clean, he is a dynamic player at wide receiver, but a different type of physical, fast, and aggressive wide receiver that the Arizona Cardinals lack at the moment.

Did Steve Keim do it again with a small schooler in the third round?
