One of the aspects that has been talked about improving for the Arizona Cardinals is that of kick off returns.
The Cardinals were... The worst in returns in 2016.
With one selection in the 2017 NFL Draft, they hope to address that, as T.J. Logan of North Carolina is one of the most dynamic return men in college football.
In 2016 alone, Logan averaged 33 yards per kick returns and scored two touchdowns.
In his four year career at North Carolina, he averaged over 27 yards per kick return and returned five kicks for touchdowns.
The Cardinals may be able to utilize that in the offense, but more important than anything else, Logan addresses a major need on special teams at the kick return spot.
He has not returned punts before, but he will be expected to also help out on coverage teams. No matter how you slice it, he has the ability to take it to the house every time it is kicked to him, and that makes this an exciting pick.
