Through five rounds of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals have been fortunate, as their picks fill needs, but also seem to be players that were ranked highly.
It again goes to show that the Cardinals are invested in addressing needs, but also want to get players at positions they feel like provide good value.
They also again seemed to go high upside sandwiched in between what looks like safer picks in Baker and Johnson.
Now in the sixth round, the Cardinals have traded their final two selections in the seventh round and with their final pick in the 2017 NFL Draft the Arizona Cardinals have taken Johnathan Ford, S, out of Auburn.
Round 1 - Haason Reddick, LB, Temple
Round 2 - Budda Baker, DB, Washington
Round 3 - Chad Williams, WR, Grambling
Fourth Round - Dorian Johnson, OG, Pitt
Fifth Round - Will Holden, OT, Vanderbilt
Fifth Round - T.J. Logan, RB, North Carolina
By the way, I gave this one an “A” cause now I don’t have to sit through two picks in the seventh round.
