In the latest edition of the Rise Up, See Red podcast on the Arizona Cardinals, Jess and I had a philosophical discussion on the quarterback position, how important it is for the Arizona Cardinals to address it this off season, and then... the 2017 NFL Draft class.
It is simple, the Cardinals need to invest in a quarterback this off season, not necessarily in the draft, but in some capacity, in case Carson Palmer decides 2017 is enough.
The Cardinals cannot go into 2018 like they went into the post Kurt Warner era, with Derek Anderson or insert backup here.
They need to have a plan in place.
Where does that plan come in?
Free agency is still an option... Hello, Jay Cutler and that may come up again... If they strike out in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Is there a guy in this class? Listen up and let us know.
