Saturday Night Open Thread: Fans have no idea what they want in the 2017 NFL Draft

Arizona Cardinals fans have picky taste for the 2017 NFL Draft.

With the 2017 NFL Draft over the horizon the debate on prospects is heating up. The weird thing to me is that there seems to be no consistency in what fans want in a prospect.

They want a long term answer at inside linebacker, but advocate for a player with medical red flags and questions to answer about off the field.

They want an immediate impact at inside linebacker, but advocate for a player that will be transitioning to a position they never have played before.

They want a cornerback to compete, but don’t want to reach.

In other words, no one knows anything.

Which is par for the Arizona Cardinals course.

Fans wanted a guard... got a guard... That guard sucked.

Fans wanted an impact safety... the Cardinals drafted a safety... Moved him to linebacker... Played him situationally as a rookie.

Fans wanted immediate impact... Got a tackle of the future...

Fans wanted immediate impact.... Got a defensive tackle of the future... With a bevy of question marks.

Anyways, on to the open thread.
