The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to a one year contract with quarterback Blaine Gabbert according to ESPN's Adam Schefter:
Former 49ers' and Jaguars' QB Blaine Gabbert is signing a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals, per source.

In the early stages of Steve Keim's tenure as GM, he promised to attack the quarterback position yearly, and he has done that with what can be billed as one good quarterback and a bunch of guys.
2013 - Drew Stanton/Carson Palmer
2014 - Logan Thomas
2015 - Matt Barkley
2016 - Zac Dysert
2017 - Blaine Gabbert
Gabbert likely spells the end for Zac Dysert's time in the desert, as Gabbert will come in and learn the offense and look to be worth a second deal.
If he can prove to Bruce Arians and the coaching staff he understands the offense, he would likely be brought back for 2018 over Drew Stanton as the primary backup.
He also could, gulp, be the guy who gets the first shot at replacing Carson Palmer when the Cardinals are ready to move on. We will jump off, I mean cross that bridge when the time comes.
