There is zero doubt to anyone who watches the game of football that David Johnson is already a great player. What he did last year showed that.

However, the more you dig into the numbers behind that great season, you see that the Arizona Cardinals could have someone special in David Johnson.

One such example of being special is what David Johnson is able to do not just as a runner, but as a receiving option out of the backfield, especially after the catch.
Johnson was the second most elusive runner after a reception in the NFL. Read that again. He did not just force the most missed tackles on receptions by running backs, no, David Johnson trailed only Odell Beckham Jr. in terms of forced missed tackles in the NFL after the catch.

What Johnson did in 2016 was incredible, if we want to nit-pick where he needs work we will do so tomorrow.
Here's to him continuing that work in 2017 and beyond.
