One of the greatest legacies of Bill Bidwill and the Arizona Cardinals is their work within the NFL as champions of opportunity or coaches.
They have continued that with their Bill Bidwill Fellowship Coach, a position given to a deserving coach, this year it is a running back coach.
From the Arizona Cardinals:
“The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced the addition of former Pro Bowl running back TERRY ALLEN to the team’s coaching staff as a participant of the BILL BIDWILL COACHING FELLOWSHIP.
Allen is the program’s second participant and follows Levon Kirkland in the fellowship that was established by the Cardinals in 2015 to provide recently-retired NFL players with the opportunity to gain coaching experience at the highest level. For the next two seasons, Allen will work with the Cardinals running backs.”
It is a great opportunity and one that the Cardinals really pride themselves in affording coaches.
It also is going to be really interesting to watch if Terry Allen is able to earn himself a running back coaching position.
Congrats to Terry Allen.
