Hey, a new quarterback brought in every year, that was the Arizona Cardinals promise.

After years and years of searching for a long term answer at the quarterback position, many thought 2017 would be the year the Arizona Cardinals found their young quarterback.

The 2017 NFL Draft came and went and the Cardinals added zero quarterbacks, which takes us back to Steve Keim's promise of adding a quarterback every year until they find one.

Well, reports have surfaced that the Arizona Cardinals are interested in Blaine Gabbert.

Hey, Keim never said they would be good quarterbacks, just that they would be quarterbacks.

Gabbert has been a bit of a disappointment over his career.

After being selected 10th overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Gabbert went on to have one of the worst statistical and on field careers in the NFL in the last decade.

His career was given a second chance with the San Francisco 49ers and never really did anything with it.

On his career, Gabbert is 9-31 as a starter, but does have a positive touchdown to interception ratio at 38-37.

Maybe the third time is the charm for Gabbert.
