The Cardinals have questions on the offensive line

Who do the Cardinals keep along the offensive line?

NFL: Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

There's one unit that as much as I try I just cannot figure out for the Arizona Cardinals and that is the offensive line.

We know the players right now:

LT - DJ Humphries

LG - Mike Iupati

C - A.Q. Shipley

RG - Evan Boehm

RT - Jared Veldheer

I think John Wetzel is a lock barring injury.

It would stand to reason that unless Dorian Johnson's liver issue progresses he is making the roster in 2017.

That leaves one, maybe two roster spots left and three players.

Will Holden is a name we have heard praised quite a bit, much as 2016 fifth round pick Cole Toner was praised after he was drafted.

Then there is Ulrick John, who would seem to be the odd man out, except he played well in his time in 2016, and played over Boehm and Toner.

Ten offensive linemen seems absurd.

You may be able to sneak a Holden onto the practice squad in 2017 while he develops, but that's risky if you see him as a potential starter at right tackle while you see others (John W and U John) as long term backups.

Also, bringing back Shipley means he is the center until he is not.

Yet, Cole Toner is now working at center as well as guard and tackle last year. Is he the new Swiss Army offensive lineman?

If I had to guess right now:

Humphries, Iupati, Shipley, Boehm, Veldheer, Wetzel, Johnson, Toner with Holden on the practice squad.

However, as we saw last year, a lot can change very quickly.
