Fitzgerald is a special and unique talent.

The NFL Network has done a top 100 players in the league since 2011.

Every year it has had at least one Arizona Cardinals player on it, and every year that players is Larry Fitzgerald, as Fitz has ranked 14th, seventh, 22nd, 38th, 68th and 27th before this years list revealed Fitzgerald at 45th.

What Fitz has done every season is incredible and if you just listen to those asked to describe Fitzgerald, you see that descriptors are hard to come by.

Not because he is not worth the words, but because what is he able to do at his age is incredible.

With Fitzgerald it is not if he will find his way on the list again, it just will be how high.

Last season, Fitzgerald was the third oldest player in NFL history to lead the NFL in receptions. He did so with 107 in 2016.

What will Fitzgerald do in 2017?

If it is his final act, it could be something spectacular.
