When the 2017 offseason just killed the Arizona Cardinals defense, it became apparent that the Cardinals knew this was likely, but also knew they could make up for it with compensatory draft picks in 2018.
Now, Over the Cap has figured out the projections and are sharing them with us:

The Cardinals will likely get four compensatory picks, but only one on day two. The rest will give them a little bit of ammunition to move around on day two, but they won’t have the bounty to make a move up in round one like many have proclaimed.
It’ll also be interesting to see how the Cardinals are able to use these extra picks to make some moves on day two or three.
The Cardinals having potentially nine picks in 2018 won’t be the same as a team like the Jets or Browns having nine picks, where they can draft nine players that will make the roster.
Likely, the Cardinals will want maybe seven, maybe eight players to come in and compete, so packaging two picks to get picks in 2019 could be the best route to go.
