Who will the Arizona Cardinals Post-Draft Free Agent signings be?

No guarantees but Steve Keim’s history suggest there will be more veteran additions soon

With the 2017 NFL Draft completed, post-draft free agency can now begin. If Cardinals GM Steve Keim history holds true, he will be making a few more additions to the team this month or the next.

Keim has brought in the best free agents after the draft.

In 2013-16, he was able to sign John Abraham, Karlos Dansby, Eric Winston, Tommy Kelly, Chris Johnson, and Jermaine Gresham . He even had successful late season signings in Red Bryant, Dwight Freeney, and D.J. Swearinger.

Keim has already made one addition to the team, with the signing of G/C Tony Bergstrom to a one-year contract. Although he will likely be backing up A.Q. Shipley, he is not guaranteed a roster spot for the regular season. Then again he could be like Alan Ball, Dan Carpenter or Ernie Sims, veterans that Keim signed after the draft but were released in cuts to the 53-man roster.

It has been confirmed that Blaine Gabbert has worked out with the team last Thursday. Many people are against this idea of signing him, but having another quarterback that can learn our system in preparation for Carson Palmer eventual retirement never hurts.

He might not be the best bridge for the QBOTF but keep in mind Drew Stanton can always be brought back, with his contract expiring at the conclusion of the 2017 NFL Season.

It would not be surprising to see the Cardinals sign a veteran cornerback.

Big names are still available such as Darrelle Revis, Leon Hall, Jason McCourty, and Tramon Williams . As of now, it looks like the team is very comfortable with Justin Bethel and Brandon Williams . Cardinals sixth round pick Jonathan “Rudy” Ford could also be in the mix to be the starter. Maybe Elie Bouka will surprise people this season.

Who do you guys want the Cardinals to sign? Who are you interested in?
