Arizona Cardinals could see free agent signings start back soon

The time frame for free agent signings to count against compensatory picks is coming to an end.

The Arizona Cardinals front office has talked quite a bit about the 2018 NFL Draft and the fact they will have a number of compensatory picks.

They have made their desire to capitalize on those picks known and that desire led to the team cutting short their investment in free agency.

Well, the time is shortly approaching for the Arizona Cardinals to start finding veteran help in free agency.

The Cardinals have waited and delayed their need to add a veteran in free agency at a number of different positions.

Expect that to change, slightly, over the next month as the Cardinals can sign vets who can potentially help the team in 2017, without fear of losing their 2018 compensatory pick haul.

Who could they go after?

Well, Andy has you covered on that, so check out his ideas over here.

I expect a veteran cornerback, defensive lineman and potentially even a wide receiver and running back to be brought in.

While those positions could be added, it doesn't mean they will be part of the roster in 2017, but brought in to compete.
