Are NFL quarterbacks interchangeable?

Are quarterbacks able to be switched from one team to another without missing a beat?

NFL: Arizona Cardinals-OTA Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the weekend. It'll be slower in terms of news, if something breaks, we will get it, but not a ton as I drive to a medical conference today.

However, there is still plenty to talk about.

The question I have for today is:

How interchangeable are quarterbacks to you?

This comes from yesterday's article on my take about Carson Palmer and his place in the Bruce Arians offense.

I just think what we've seen from Arians over the years shows how much of a transition it is to his offense. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in his first uear, 17 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in his second year with Arians, Andrew Luck threw 18 interceptions in his one season, Palmer threw 22 in his first season.

Palmer is probably the worst of the three, but he was also the most experienced quarterback of the three when first meeting Arians.

Maybe I overstate the complexity of Arians offense, but I just don't see an offense that lends itself to a ton of success early.

What do you think?
