For the Arizona Cardinals, one consolation they can take from a failed 2016 season is that they still have talent.
Three players were voted by their peers as top 50 players in the NFL.
It was revealed earlier tonight that Patrick Peterson was the 19th ranked player on the NFL 100 list. Earlier in the month, Larry Fitzgerald made another appearance on the list, as the 45th best player in the NFL.
Well, joining Peterson tonight on the list was the one and only David Johnson, who checked in as the 12th ranked player in the NFL by his peers.

He led NFL in scrimmage yards (2,118) & total TD (20) in 2016 pic.twitter.com/sqXJXEDRDU
The honor is not surprising, Johnson led the NFL in total yards from scrimmage and total touchdowns on the season. He is the most complete back in the NFL.
He has two years left on his rookie deal and will be holding down the Arizona Cardinals offense for at least that time.
It is a new era of Arizona Cardinals football where they possess one of the most complete weapons in the NFL.

Even more exciting, Johnson is not satisfied being just one of the 12 best in the NFL.
Appreciate the respect from the league, but coming for that #1 spot! #NotSatisfied #MoreRespectToCome
