QB prospects are looking good for us next season.

First, I wanna thank Steve Kiem and the rest of the Cardinals Organization for not drafting out of desperation and making solid draft picks this season. These guys really learned their lesson that ridiculous trade for Kevin Kolb which resulted in us losing Dominque-Rogers Cromartie and a 2nd round pick for a guy who wasn't able to hack it as a starting QB. I'm glad this team didn't draft a QB. Let's be honest, this year's QB crop was probably the weakest we've seen in recent memory. I personally didn't care much for Trubitsky, Watson or Mahomes. People are gonna have their own opinions, but this team in the end made the right choice. Steve Kiem even said it would have been foolhardy to make choose a QB simply in need. Sometimes the best QB on the board isn't the right one.

This team's focus right now is to win the SB, we have players who are healthy, and ready to make a comeback for another title shot. OL aside from AQ Shipley being hurt is looking solid; hopefully, the apex of our OL won't be exposed this season like it was last season. But I'm hopeful that we have the player personnel to mitigate the risk of Carson Palmer getting hurt. With that being said you do not draft a QB if you do not have adaquate protection at OL, which with this team has yet to have been seen.

We've seen throughout the league we teams draft a QB only to not have a supporting cast to protect them. i.e Tim Couch and David Carr who could of had successful careers, but didn't because they weren't adequately protected early in their careers. I wanna be sure the QBoTF comes to the best possible senario so he has all tool to succeed.

Looking at next year's FA we have Drew Brees, Kurt Cousins, and Matthew Stafford, all of whom would be great fits for this team. Out of all the FA Kurt Cousins would be the guy I wants simply because his sky high accuracy and the yards he post and he comes at a decent age of 28. Although I wouldn't oppose Matthew Stafford who I suspect is not happy with the Lions and could be another target for us. Drew Brees is a legend, but his age is catching to him, and he'll more than likely stay in the Big Easy.

Draft-wise next year would be the most opportune time to draft a QB. Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold, Luke Falk, and more. this draft class with where you want to evaluate the QB position. Out of all the prospects I have to go with Josh Allen he reminds me of a Carson Wentz but with better vision downfield and better accuracy. He also has great range and touch on his throws. I think this young man will be a star in the league if he sits out a full year while Carson Palmer and Tom Moore can bring him up to speed. I think we'll have a star in the making.

So if you are bummed out that we didn't draft a QB you can relax because next year we'll know our answer to who will be the Cardinals QBoTF
