It seems to be cursed at this point as the Arizona Cardinals are now down another cornerback.
Ronald Zamort, running with starters, down in the EZ. Limping to the cart and is driven off. Depth at CB already a problem

With Justin Bethel on the shelf with a hyperextended knee, Ronald Zamort was promoted to first team corner opposite Patrick Peterson. That didn't last long, as Zamort was injured during the Red and White Practice and the Cardinals are now in a bit of a predicament.
Brandon Williams was elevated to the first team defense and had a nice day according to the reports coming out of camp.
However, the predicament is simply you don't want to start burning through your corner depth a week into training camp.
The other thing is, Zamort is a great story.
He's the type of player you root for, a undrafted free agent out of Western Michigan who was with the Cardinals last year during training camp, then was cut, before being picked up on the practice squad in December.
He had been one of the best players in camp so far, giving the Cardinals some hope at young depth.
As information comes out on Zamort, we will report more, but it's never good to see a player carted off the field.
We're all hoping for the best for you Ronald.
