Why You Should Follow The Arizona Cardinals This Season

The 2017 NFL Season will be a season to remember

Get off the New England Patriots bandwagon and forget about being the 12th man of the Seattle Seahawks. Whether you are a fan of another football team or don’t even follow football at all, the 2017 NFL season is the best time to start rooting for the Arizona Cardinals.

Larry Fitzgerald looks to add a championship to his Hall of Fame resume

There is no doubt in my mind that if Fitzgerald had consistency at the QB position throughout his career, such as only had Carson Palmer and Kurt Warner, that his statistics would be insurmountable. Statistics aside, just as the Ravens did for Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, the Cardinals will make an even bigger push to win a Super Bowl championship. This season will likely be everyone’s last chance to watch the great Larry Fitzgerald play in the NFL.

Watch as he is expected to jump to third all-time in receiving yards and receptions.

Most of all, expect the Arizona Cardinals to make this season one for the ages.

David Johnson will be even more electrifying in 2017-18

If the 2015 and 2016 NFL seasons were not enough for you, 2017 is expected to blow past performances out of the water. Johnson looks faster and stronger than ever so there is a good reason to believe he will shatter even more records.

“I must get 1000 in rushing and receiving,” said Johnson

The Pro Bowl running back will have over 1300 yards rushing, over 1000 receiving yards, and over 100 receptions. Watch as he will get over 100 scrimmage yards in every game on the 2017 NFL Season. He will evoke his inner beastmode once again as he bulldozes his way to the endzone game after game. Turn on Redzone on the NFL Network and listen in to Scott Hanson at the start of the regular season because David Johnson will be on it every week, except prime time games.

The Cardinals will be top 5 in sacks

Calais Campbell is gone but he was not the reason the team was one of the more dominant teams in the pass rush category. Markus Golden and Chandler Jones only scratched the surface of their true capabilities. They are the real reasons why AZ got to the QB. If Nkemdiche and the entire DL stays healthy, we’re talking about even more sacks than the 48 in the 2016 season. More sacks are on the way and that’s just how Cardinals nation likes it.

Seahawks rivalry

The Seahawks barely made any improvement to the lackluster offensive line but the team remains explosive. The Cardinals take care of business on the road but cannot seem to win at home against Seattle. This season changes. We won’t see 6-6 scores anymore. An all out brawl of the top offenses and defenses will commence. We will see you soon Seattle. This time around, we’ll win at home!

Secondary is more improved than people realize

The Cardinals lost Tony Jefferson, D.J. Swearinger, and Marcus Cooper. Some will say the secondary got worse but that should not be the case. There is nothing to worry about in Patrick Peterson. Justin Bethel and Tyrann Mathieu are finally healthy and are expected to play many times better than their 2016 form. Brandon Williams and Harlan Miller are impressing the coaching staff, looking to build off of their rookie performances. Antoine Bethea is a huge addition that has a very similar playing style to Jefferson. Budda Baker has the smarts and the speed to make a huge impact at safety No one is really talking about Elie Bouka but he has a chance to be a starting cornerback sooner rather than later.

So much speed!

Kerwynn Williams and J.J. Nelson were probably the fastest players on the team last season. Now John Brown is healthy and the addition of Chad Williams only makes the Cardinals offense even faster. Expect a lot more big plays from this already explosive offense.

The Cardinals defense is built with speed. Patrick Peterson and Deone Bucannon are fast. Rookies Haason Reddick and Budda Baker could be even faster. Elie Bouka has speed that no one is even talking about. This defense has the smarts and speed. Chandler Jones, Harlan Miller, Brandon Williams will play even faster, with one year of the defensive system under their belts. The 2017 defense is expected to blow the 2016 defense out of the water.

Come join the Arizona Cardinals bandwagon today!
