For the Arizona Cardinals as a whole, Saturday means nothing. It is just another preseason game in a long preseason.
However, for many on the roster, there will be individual importance in the game.
One of those key players is D.J. Humphries, who is moving to the left side and could use 10-15 snaps against the Raiders edge players on Saturday night.
He is questionable for the game though, along with John Brown, Chad Williams and now from practice, Carlton Agudosi:
Arians: John Brown, D.J. Humphries and Chad Williams all "iffy" for game vs. Raiders; no new injuries post-practice #CardsCamp— Craig Grialou (@CraigAZSports) August 10, 2017
Carlton Agudosi (rookie WR) carted off after suffering a leg injury. Fellow WRs Britton Golden and @LarryFitzgerald helped him on the cart.— Bauer (@MikeJackBauer) August 10, 2017
It is not huge for Williams, but Brown needs to get some reps in and it is likely the end of this year with the Cardinals for Agudosi, even if it is only a couple week injury.
Arians, "Up and down practice offensively (Wednesday)...pleased with where our defense is at" #CardsCamp— Craig Grialou (@CraigAZSports) August 10, 2017
Arians, "Speed and we have some good length...good power up front" re: what he likes about defense#CardsCamp— Craig Grialou (@CraigAZSports) August 10, 2017
It is a good sign that the defense is slightly ahead of the offense, especially since we have seen Carson Palmer barely at all.

Dawson is fun.
Bruce Arians said DT Robert Nkemdiche is getting a lot of work with the starting defense lately.— Kyle Odegard (@Kyle_Odegard) August 10, 2017
Here... We... Go!
Carson Palmer, who had a veteran's day off yesterday, isn't on the practice field today, either. #CardsCamp— Adam Green (@theAdamGreen) August 10, 2017
I am not saying this is a problem, but it sure as hell is interesting.

Robert Nkemdiche is so explosive.
While the team runs plays (11 on 11) on the main portion of the field, WR John Brown (quad) is running sprints in the end zone.#CardsCamp— Bauer (@MikeJackBauer) August 10, 2017
Looks like Dansby also is getting a veteran's day off; Scooby Wright running w/1st-team defense alongside Reddick#CardsCamp— Craig Grialou (@CraigAZSports) August 10, 2017
Maybe Scooby isn’t on the bubble.
Blaine Gabbert keeps throwing the ball well. Interested to see how he responds if the Raiders get some pressure on him Saturday.— Kyle Odegard (@Kyle_Odegard) August 10, 2017
This is good and we hope it continues.
Not much else.
No practice tomorrow.
Enjoy your evening.
