The Arizona Cardinals returned to camp after their 20-10 win over the Oakland Raiders on Saturday and Bruce Arians was not a happy man, but Blake Murphy will have more on that later.
Let’s get to the news and notes from camp today.
Rookie WR Chad Williams is back on the field at #CardsCamp today - he missed most of the past week with shin splints.

Good news for the Cardinals who have underwhelmed at the position through two preseason games.
While Chad Williams (shin splints) is back on the practice field, still no DJ Humphries for the Cardinals. #CardsCamp

This is less good news though. If D.J. Humphries was a four or five year starting left tackle, no big deal. He is making the move full time. He needs reps. He also needs to be healthy.
ILB Scooby Wright and OLB Kareem Martin getting first-team reps today. Don't see ILB Karlos Dansby or OLB Markus Golden out here currently.

Vet days off?
Also noteworthy: WR John Brown is participating in the team portion of practice, too. Running routes, etc. #CardsCamp

Also a good thing.
Chan Jones busts out a Freeney-esque spin move. Palmer forced to throw quickly, and it almost resulted in a Bethea interception.

Chandler Jones is in fact, good at football.
Bynes with his second INT in as many practices today (although Stanton would have been sacked first). Story on his quick rise ⬇️ https://t.co/2xQ7ZgPrHv

Josh Bynes is playing well. Phillip Wheeler is on notice.
Stellar reaction by Tyrann Mathieu, who jumped a route and picked off a Palmer pass intended for Fitz.

Tyrann Mathieu may be back to his old ways, which is good for the Arizona Cardinals defense.
David Johnson just busted loose for about a 70-yard run in 11-on-11 work. Great blocking on the play.

David Johnson is good at football.
Jaron Brown just made a nice jump-ball grab in the end zone over Justin Bethel, who claimed Brown pushed off. #CardsCamp

The Cardinals need Jaron Brown to be good this year based on Arians comments after practice.
Arians unhappy with wideouts. In spring he thought he had 12 NFL caliber WR. "I must have been seeing things." Now believes he has two.
— Kyle Odegard (@Kyle_Odegard) August 14, 2017
I remember this.
Arians said Larry Fitzgerald and Jaron thrown are the two good ones, by the way https://t.co/v0hZHgJz18
— Adam Green (@theAdamGreen) August 14, 2017
Two good receivers right now. John Brown and Chad Williams hurt while no one else is stepping up.
BA: Starters are expected to play up to 20 snaps vs. Bears on Saturday.
— Mike Jurecki (@mikejurecki) August 14, 2017
That’ll be fun. Hopefully John Brown and D.J. Humphries are back.
In light of his concern about the wide receivers, Arians said the Cardinals will be looking to see what FAs might be out there.

Blake Murphy will have more on this later.
That’s it from camp today.
