It is Wednesday heading into Chicago Bears week and there is plenty of news coming from training camp before the Cardinals host the Bears.
Let’s get to it.
LB Josh Bynes (hamstring) out about a week, Arians said.

Josh Bynes has played extremely well since being signed, this is disappointing.
Arians: Larry Fitzgerald practiced yesterday instead of planned day off so he could lead WR group after bad previous day.

That is what I thought.
Arians, "He's got a quad slowing him down" re: John Brown; added, "I don't have a choice" re: being patient w/Brown#CardsCamp
— Craig Grialou (@CraigAZSports) August 16, 2017
This is a slippery slope. On one hand, the Cardinals need John Brown to play well and more importantly need to see what Brown has this season. On the other, Brown needs to take care of himself.
Arians: Expect to keep 6 WRs on 53-man roster. Whether all 6 are currently on roster is yet to be determined.

Then does that mean three tight ends, eight offensive lineman or four running backs?
Arians, "The best guy has been little 'Smoke'" re: Chris Hubert among young WRs stepping up; "He's been wide-ass open"#CardsCamp
— Craig Grialou (@CraigAZSports) August 16, 2017
I have seen this, I have also seen an inability to find the ball or for the quarterbacks to find him.
Carson Palmer re: John Brown's recovery and availability: "We want him in Detroit...we need him in Detroit." (Week 1 @ Lions)#CardsCamp pic.twitter.com/lta13qYoO3

Agreed.
Arians says players are getting bored with practices. Been in camp around a month. Palmer says tired of each other and hotel food
— Kent Somers (@kentsomers) August 16, 2017
Palmer, "I don't want to see him get the call at all" in the preseason re: David Johnson's reps; just wait until Week 1#CardsCamp
— Craig Grialou (@CraigAZSports) August 16, 2017
Palmer, "I'd like to see them stay healthy. The most important thing is availability." re: offensive line#CardsCamp
— Craig Grialou (@CraigAZSports) August 16, 2017
I know a guy who says that a lot.
Appears Cardinals will be in pads for a 3rd consecutive day. Indication Arians hasn't been happy

Makes sense.
Pretty funnyhttps://t.co/lsJQnvLybN

Drew Stanton rest day today.

The ILB corps thin for practice: Only Zaviar Gooden, Scooby Wright, Tre'Von Johnson and Haason Reddick.
— Darren Urban (@Cardschatter) August 16, 2017
Looks like another off day for Dansby though he was battling a knee issue earlier in camp; Rucker with a day off, too#CardsCamp
— Craig Grialou (@CraigAZSports) August 16, 2017
Less than optimal.
#AZCardinals Carson Palmer to Jeremy Ross. For the third consecutive day in full pads. #CardsCamp pic.twitter.com/lwImHMvhr9

Rob Nkemdiche practicing with first-team defense as Frostee Rucker gets a day off.

Hello...
Patrick Peterson, a step in front of Jaron Brown, with an easy pick. He yells: I knew that was coming!

Budda Baker getting first-team work with Antoine Bethea taking day off. Reddick and Baker on field together.

I have some thoughts... One is I am very excited about this.
DT Rober Nkemdiche shows his power vs R guard Dorian Johnson. Starting G Evan Boehm fared better pic.twitter.com/PYAKajuaeM

May explain the four snaps in the game for Dorian.
That is it for today.
