The news is not what we wanted to hear, but there is also no confirmation from the team, but Ian Rapoport of NFL.com tweeted this out minutes ago:
Sources: #AZCardinals RB David Johnson (wrist) is expected to miss an extended period of time. Getting more opinions, but an IR candidate.

This is devastating news for the Cardinals and their fans, but we will wait for confirmation from the team.
If David Johnson goes on injured reserve, the Cardinals would not get their All Pro running back back until after week 13 of the season.
The Arizona Cardinals have announced that Johnson has a dislocated wrist, but is seeking a second opinion:
B.A. says RB David Johnson is seeking a second opinion. Prognosis is a dislocated wrist.

This is bad: #AZCardinals coach Bruce Arians tells reporters David Johson’s initial prognosis is the same as TJ Logan… who is out 12 weeks.

This is the same injury that sidelined rookie running back T.J. Logan, so expecting anything different may he naive. However, we have to hope that a second opinion will give a bit more optimism over the situation for Johnson.
The loss to the Lions hurt, but it was the second biggest loss on Sunday, we know that now.
Here's to a speedy recovery or better outcome with the second opinion.
