The Arizona Cardinals played a very, very bad half of football against the Indianapolis Colts. When asked on the sidelines about what was the problem with the offense, the response from the head coach was blunt and to the point.
Per @PaulCalvisi on Cardinals sidelines, asked why offense not clicking Arians answered with one word, "Quarterback"#AZvsIND

It is the second time in two games we have heard Bruce Arians take issue with the play of Carson Palmer, which is a much different tone than he has set in years past, where he would go to extremes to defend him:
Cardinals' Bruce Arians: Carson Palmer 'didn't lose the damn game' - CBSSports.com
Carson Palmer's nightmare night can be condensed into a single statline: four picks, two fumbles, a 43.2 passer rating, and a 34-point loss in the NFC Championship.
Bruce Arians: Carson Palmer is not Cardinals' problem - NFL.com
Carson Palmer's aerial attack has sputtered during the Cardinals' disappointing 4-5-1 start. Find out why coach Bruce Arians insists his quarterback is not the problem this season.
That’s why, when Arians expressed concern over the quarterback play, it was a bit of surprise.
More interestingly was how that critique has been received within the media and fans:
The honesty is great for us. Bruce Arians continually trashing players publicly is garbage though https://t.co/jwxnDvitCS

I am blaming O line more than QB - that's why BA's evisceration of Palmer to halftime reporters seemed reckless https://t.co/vA0yIT42vH

It's a collective effort of guys past their prime (Palmer, Veldheer, Iupati, Boone) and journeymen (Shipley).... too old and slow.

I disagree. Older qb's thrive based on sit awareness and decision making. Carson demonstrating neither.

I think father time has finally come for Palmer
