Despite what most ot us thought heading into cutdown days, the Arizona Cardinals will be cutting inside linebacker Scooby Wright III.

It is a bit of a surprise to see the Cardinals cut Wright, who garnered high praise from the coaching staff for much of the preseason and training camp.
His flaws as a linebacker were obvious, he lacked the requisite athleticism to be an every down linebacker for the Cardinals, but his ability on special teams was what made him seem to be close to a lock.
With the emergence of Josh Bynes and the experience of Philip Wheeler, the Cardinals have other options as the fourth linebacker.
The other question is, did the Cardinals keeping Rudy Ford on the roster bump Wright off the roster?
Maybe the Cardinals will keep ten defensive backs with Ford and Harlan Miller both getting spots and only the four inside backers.
