Five surprise moves in the Arizona Cardinals roster cuts

A look at the roster moves from the Arizona Cardinals.

After a long day, the Arizona Cardinals made cuts yesterday to get to their initial 53 man roster.

There will be moves coming soon, but here were the moves that surprised me the most.

Cole Toner - Gungus did an excellent job of explaining why this shouldn't be a surprise, but it still was a bit of a different outcome, especially after the Tony Bergstrom trade. Maybe it was because we hadn't heard anything on Daniel Munyer all camp long.

Harlan Miller - Taking athleticism over on-field performance is not new for this regime, but Rudy Ford showed enough in his final preseaon game to make the Cardinals feel comfortable enough to let the steady Miller go.

Cap Capi - A fireplug all camp and preseaon, Capi began to gain a legion of fans. He didn't do enough though for the staff. Was that because of special teams?

Scooby Wright III - Wright had been gushed over all camp, especially because of his ability on special teams. Wright is likely a practice squad candidate, but he seemed to be a lock.

Dorian Johnson - His play made this obvious, but Dorian was a fourth round pick at a position that seemed thin. Add to that, Cole Toner was cut as well, how bad was Johnson that he couldn't make a roster where they were cutting a fifth round pick from the previous season?

What surprised you?
