It was bad news sort of day for the Arizona Cardinals in Bruce Arians afternoon press conference, at least for one player.
It is now known that Deone Bucannon will not play in the opening game of the season, as Bruce Arians response was “No Chance!” Maybe more importantly, his first practice back resulted in a setback:
Bucannon sprained ankle first day back at practice. Set back his rehab.

This could be a big blow:
Bucannon was on target in his rehab until spraining an ankle recently. BA Said he could be back tomorrow or in 3 weeks. Just can't tell

A setback is one thing, but we know how bad ankle sprains can be for players and how long it can take for those to heal.
Hopefully it is a speedy recovery and Bucannon is back on the field quickly.
That means the Cardinals will be without their moat athletic linebacker looking to try and covet Ameer Abdullah, Theo Reddick and Eric Ebron. It could make the Lions offense a little tougher to stop in game one.
It will likely be Josh Bynes who is taking most of the reps with Karlos Dansby at inside linebacker, but we'll definitely see some Haason Reddick.
Get well soon, Drone.
