The names are beginning to trickle in, we will look at the candidates more intimately as the names become set in stone and interviews begin to take place.

We made a group focusing on the Arizona Cardinals coaching search, so make sure you bookmark that, and we’ll try and update it not only daily, but as we learn more about what is going on.

Here is everything we know right now.

The Cardinals have reached out to a number of teams with coordinators that are coaching still.

That means the Cardinals have reached out to (in no particular order):

Steve Wilks, DC Carolina Panthers
Matt Patricia, DC New England Patriots
Pat Shurmur, OC Minnesota Vikings
John DeFilippo, QB Coach Philadelphia Eagles
Jim Schwartz, DC Philadelphia Eagles

Brian Flores, LB coach Patriots

They also will look at James Bettcher and Harold Goodwin.

Seven really strong candidates so far, how would you rank the candidates that we know of?

For me, it would be:

I like the idea of Shurmur and DeFilippo grooming the quarterback as they come down the pike.

It will be an exciting time for the Arizona Cardinals and their fans.
