The receiver position for the Cardinals had been miserable for the 2017 season, with the exception of Larry Fitz-magic, but they cannot be depended on Larry forever. I mean, if he plays next year, he will probably be mentoring someone, and that’s Auden Tate for me. Some would prefer James Washington of OK State, Anthony Miller of Memphis, or Christian Kirk of Texas A&M, but I need length for the position. No need to draft for a smaller receiver (John Brown or J.J. Nelson), I wanted someone who could get up and grab the jump ball.

47th Pick - Arizona Cardinals (8-8)
Mason Rudolph - Quarterback
Oklahoma State - Senior
6’4’’, 235 Pounds
Drafting a quarterback is a primary goal for the Cardinals, and whoever the coach is coming in, he will have to handle the pressures of finding the ‘right guy’. In the second round, Mason Rudolph is a steal, and will probably not last this long. I like the gunslinger mentality, and he almost outdueled Baker Mayfield for what was a shootout. I think that Mason has intangibles that will boost his stock (size), but it’s his accuracy that separates him. So, the question becomes; If both Mason Rudolph and Baker Mayfield are available at this time, who would you take?
