The Arizona Cardinals have their new hierarchy in place, as it is being reported that the Cardinals have agreed to terms with Mike McCoy to become the teams new offensive coordinator.

This isn’t a surprise, from day one we have told you the name attached to new Head Coach Steve Wilks was Mike McCoy.

In fact, on January 7th, we let you know what we were hearing is that McCoy was the man Wilks had tapped as his offensive coordinator and one of the selling points was his potential quarterback he would allegedly bring in… Brock Osweiler.

That’s also being reported by Ben Allbright:

Some highlights of McCoy’s career:

  • Top ranked rushing offense in NFL in 2011
  • Second ranked offense by Football Outsiders DVOA in 2012 and 2013.

One of the selling points for McCoy is the fact that McCoy has head coaching experience. He will be a welcomed voice in a room of young coaches and coordinators, a giant departure from the Bruce Arians era.

What do you think of the hire?
