We know the order for the first 20 picks, how will the draft unfold?

It is January 5, 2018.

The 2018 NFL Draft is 112 days away.

Yet, if you live in the world of my children, they want answers now. That’s right, my 12 year old and 10 year old are pestering me about who the Arizona Cardinals will take in the 2018 NFL Draft.

I asked them, why don’t you make a mock draft, they came back within an hour with the first 20 picks done.

Honestly, it’ll be better than anything I can do.

They both finessed quarterbacks to the Arizona Cardinals, so they take after their father clearly, and they’ll be back in a couple of weeks with another iteration, probably before the Super Bowl, with an updated Mock Draft.

Hopefully by then we know who is declaring.

It’s interesting how the draft turns out. Clearly they read too many mocks as they are in lockstep with the first three picks, but then they begin to diverge.

When it comes to the Cardinals, they both want a quarterback there, and they both picked their favorite in college. Apparently I’ve raised them well.

Honestly, I’d be okay with either player, as long as they end up with one of Pat Shurmur or John DeFilippo.

What do you think?
