A win normally cures what ails you.
However, for the Arizona Cardinals and their fans, the reality is that a win only brought to the surface more of the issues the team has.
Despite their 28-18 win over the San Francisco 49ers, fans through SB Nation’s FanPulse dropped their confidence in the team, by quite a bit.
First off, ff you want to be part of the FanPulse group, don’t forget to sign up!
SB Nation FanPulse —is a survey of fans across the NFL, powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Cardinals fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

From the emergence of Josh Rosen in week five, to the Cardinals first win in week six, fans confidence in the direction of the team fell a staggering 15%, back down to an 18% confidence in the direction of the Arizona Cardinals.
I am quite frankly a bit shocked.
I understand the win was ugly, and that is putting it mildly, but a win is a win is a win and the reality is that the Cardinals need wins in the worst way.
Maybe the win brought to light the warts of the team, the offense is a mess, the defense can’t stop a runny nose let alone a running back, but still, that far of a drop off a win?
What does that mean if the Cardinals go back to getting blown out this week?
Will confidence rise if the team wins against a Minnesota team that is supposed to be a contender?
Tune in next week for the emotional roller coaster known as the fans belief in the Arizona Cardinals.
