After a relatively healthy start to the 2018 season, with only bumps and bruises and and of course the obligatory Andre Smith and Robert Nkemdiche missed games, but this week, on a short week, the Cardinals are feeling the rigors of the NFL.

According to Head Coach Steve Wilks, both Mike Iupati and Tre Boston will miss tomorrow’s Thursday Night Football game with the Denver Broncos.

Justin Pugh will likely be a game time decision, which means the Cardinals could go into their one primetime game of 2018 missing both of their starting guards, along with one of their most important defensive players.

Rudy Ford, the 2017 sixth round pick, will get some burn on defense in Boston’s absence, while the bigger question is, will the Cardinals go to a more base defense this week with the physical Boston unavailable?

It’ll be one of the more intriguing questions heading into tomorrow, does Wilks and company trust Ford more than Deone Bucannon?

We should find out quickly tomorrow.
