We are onto the 2019 NFL Draft.
No, we are not done covering the Arizona Cardinals, but the 10 day break before the bye week could not have come at a better time for fans.
No, instead we will begin to dial in on where the Cardinals will be picking along with the players who fit the needs of the current coaching staff, until that changes.
For now, it will be day one and probable day two talents we focus on, and if you want to know more, well feel free to ask.
Let’s get started on games to watch today.
#6 Michigan at #24 Michigan State, 9am Arizona time, Fox
Rashan Gary is a slightly undersized tweener defensive end defensive tackle prospect with high motor, huge get off and an ability to penetrate and cause disruption.
Illinois at #23 Wisconsin, 9am, FS1
David Edwards is a massive man, playing offensive tackle for the Badgers, if the Cardinals are staying with Wilks and company for another year, Edwards fits the mold of a power tackle who can help solidify the offensive line.
#1 Alabama at Tennessee, 12:30pm, CBS
Alabama’s Jonah Williams could be the top offensive tackle taken, that immediately puts him on the radar for the Cardinals, but Bama boasts defensive linemen Raekwon Davis and Quinnen Williams, as well as linebacker Mack Wilson.
#16 North Carolina State at #3 Clemson, 12:30pm, ESPN
Clemson has cornerback Trayvon Mullen, defensive end Clelin Ferrell and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, all who could find themselves in the first 45 picks of the 2019 NFL Draft.
#22 Mississippi State at #5 LSU, 4pm, ESPN
This is the best matchup of top 25 prospects, as LSU linebacker Devin White will look to lead the Tigers over dynamic Mississippi State pass rusher and defnsive end Montez Sweat. Sweat has eight sacks on the season for the Bulldogs.
