Tre Boston missed the Arizona Cardinals beatdown at the hands of the Denver Broncos, and based on the newest signing for the Cardinals it could be a little longer.
The Cardinals have signed veteran safety Eddie Pleasant to a contract.
From the team:
Pleasant, in his seventh NFL season, spent the preseason with the New England Patriots, but was with the Houston Texans his first six years. He had 32 tackles, two sacks and an interception in 2017 playing 16 games for the Texans -- with his one pick coming against the Cardinals.
The signing comes after Rudy Ford had one of the worst games of any Arizona safety in recent memory against the Broncos and necessitated a move if the team is going to be worried about missing Tre Boston.
Of course, the bad part is that the team had a player with more intrigue and upside on their practice squad just a couple of weeks ago in Darian Thompson who was signed by the Dallas Cowboys, so the Cardinals had to go to plan... C, maybe D?
Good luck to Pleasant and I hope we ge to see Nichols back on the practice squad.
