While the Patrick Peterson conundrum rages, the Arizona Cardinals are busy trying to fix what ails them... their offensive line.
Today, the team announced they have signed free agent guard Oday Aboushi, from the team.
Aboushi (6-5, 315) has played in 34 games (26 starts) with the New York Jets (2014), Houston Texans (2015-16) and Seattle Seahawks (2017) in his NFL career. He entered the league with the Jets as a fifth-round selection (141st overall) in the 2013 NFL Draft out of Virginia. The 27-year old Aboushi started all eight games at right guard he in appeared in with Seattle last season. Aboushi signed with Oakland in the offseason, but was released on September 1.
Aboushi will wear jersey #70.
The team has also brought back yo-yo cornerback Deatrick Nichols to their practice squad.
Nichols (5-10, 189) has played in two games and was inactive in four others this season after originally signing with the Cardinals in May as an undrafted rookie free agent out of South Florida. He was released by Arizona yesterday.
In a corresponding move, the team has released defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo.
Good luck to Odenigbo and welcome board Aboushi.
