The first half of this game seemed to fly by, while also being rough to watch.
The Arizona Cardinals trail the San Francisco 49ers at the half 5-3, and it hasn’t been great football, as the score tells you.
One good thing, the Arizona Cardinals had their longest drive, in terms of time of possession and distance, on the season.
It only resulted in a field goal, but for the Cardinals in 2018, that is a positive outcome.
We have seen some really good things on defense and the rookie struggles of Josh Rosen on offense.
Markus Golden, Antoine Bethea and Zach Moore all have sacks on the game and Josh Bynes has been all over the field.
Meanwhile, the offense has been something to watch.
Despite the longest drive of the season, it has struggled to again sustain any drives. Of their five drives, three went three and out. It’s a simple thing that needs to be fixed, not necessarily going 10 plus plays a drive, but not keeping the ball under three combined minutes is less than optimal.
The Cardinals trail at the half, can they comeback?
Let’s hope so and let’s go Cardinals!
