With a fantastic fourth quarter comeback win for the Arizona Cardinals, things were starting to look a little better for fans.

No one wants to see a bad season record wise, but even more so, no one wants to see incompetence.

That is where the Arizona Cardinals felt like they were heading under Steve Wilks and company.

They were the odds on favorite to hold the first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft this weekend, in front of teams like the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders, two teams on their schedule still.

Well, a win has changed that, no one looks like they’ll be able to overcome the ineptitude of the New York Giants anyways, and maybe even better for those fans of the #2018Tank, the Arizona Cardinals are still picking the top five of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Tankathon.com/nfl has the standing 2019 Draft order as:

  1. New York Giants (1-7), Strength of Schedule: 0.508
  2. San Francisco 49ers (1-7), SoS: 0.525
  3. Oakland Raiders (1-6), SoS: 0.548
  4. Arizona Cardinals (2-6), SoS: 0.546
  5. Buffalo Bills (2-5), SoS: 0.512
  6. Cleveland Browns (2-5-1), SoS: 0.567

The Bills will likely over take the Cardinals for the fourth pick in the draft once they lose tonight to the New England Patriots, but it’ll be closer once they factor in the Pats strength of schedule as well.

The fourth pick means the Cardinals will have their choice of one of Nick Bosa, Ed Oliver, Greedy Williams or Jonah Williams, or really any other non-quarterback in the draft.

It was a great win in more ways than one.
