Today, ESPN involved the Cardinals in three of their eight NFL trade proposals. Here they are:
1-New England Patriots acquire WR Larry Fitzgerald from the Arizona Cardinals for a conditional draft choice
2-Minnesota Vikings acquire CB Patrick Peterson from the Arizona Cardinals for CB Trae Waynes, first- and third-round picks, with Arizona agreeing to keep Sam Bradford on its roster through Week 10
3-New England Patriots acquire DL/LB Haason Reddick from the Arizona Cardinals for C/G Brian Schwenke and a 2019 second-round draft choice
My reactions—-would i be in favor of the trade?
- If Fitz wants to play for a contender—-by all means, let him do it. Take the highest bid, which would probably be a 6th rounder that could become a 5th rounder if Fitz’s team advances in the playoff at least one game.
- Yes. I am never in favor of holding players hostage. if the Cardinals can get this kind of a deal, then take it.
- No. The Cardinals have 3 more years of control on Reddick and he is just now starting to emerge as a playmaker. His versatility is off the charts.
What are your reactions? is there a trade that you would propose?
Here’s one from me:
Green Bay Packers acquire LB/S Deone Bucannon from the Arizona Cardinals for S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
Both 5th year option players could use a change of scenery and could make a splash with their new teams.
All trades need to be made by 4 PM EDT tomorrow.
