With the NFL trade deadline fast approaching, 1pm Arizona Time, the news coming out is pretty big... except for the Arizona Cardinals.
Yesterday, ESPN wrote about three potential trades the Cardinals could make that involved Patrick Peterson, Haason Reddick and... Larry Fitzgerald.
None seemed overly realistic and all are extremely unlikely to occur, but that is really the news on the Arizona Cardinals at this point.
The big news of the day, the Denver Broncos sent star receiver Demaryius Thomas to the Houston Texans, the AFC South leading Texans at that.
Confirming @RapSheet report Texans getting Demaryius Thomas for a fourth round pick.

That takes the Patriots out of the Thomas sweepstakes, but they are active in looking for a linebacker as well, according to Jason La Canfora, the Patriots are trying to get back Jamie Collins from the Cleveland Browns.
One potential suitor for Patrick Peterson, the Philadelphia Eagles, seem to be out of any sweepstakes, as they are unwilling to part with an early round pick according to Jeff McLane.
UPDATE:
The Philadelphia Eagles traded for wide receiver Golden Tate from the Detroit Lions for a third round pick! Impressive get for the Lions.
The Green Bay Packers are sending Ty Montgomery to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for a 7th round pick.
