Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers second half thread

The Arizona Cardinals lead at halftime, can they finish it off this week?

One big play on offense, one big play on defense and the Arizona Cardinals find themselves, for the third week in a row, up at the half.

The Cardinals lead the San Francisco 49ers 14-6 at the half, despite another puzzlingly bad performance from their wide receiver and running backs.

Josh Rosen is 8/14 for 155 yards and a beautiful 75-yard touchdown pass to fellow rookie Christian Kirk, but Rosen's receivers have three first half drops.

Defensively, after an opening drive that showed the master class of Kyle Shanahan's offensive scripting, it looks like C.J. Beathard is playing quarterback again.

The defense has forced two turnovers, including a fumble recovery that Patrick Peterson took inside the five.

David Johnson finished off the drive with a two-yard touchdown run to give the Cardinals the 14-6 lead.

Let's see if this week, the Cardinals can find a way to make some halftime adjustments and finish off a win.
