The Arizona Cardinals continue to search for the right combination of players.

Today, they brought in Rishard Matthews, the former Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins wide receiver is a veteran with experience and production.

In his last three seasons, before this year with the Titans, Matthews averaged 54 catches for 801 yards and seven touchdowns.

That's why his reduced role in Tennessee did not sit well with him.

However, Matthews was not the only free agent in for a workout.

For the first time in 2018, at least the first time we have seen it reported, the Cardinals brought in two kickers for workouts.

Kai Forbath is a seven year NFL veteran with stops with the Redskins, Vikings and Saints.

He has a career field goal percentage of 85.9% and a career extra point percentage of 93.9%.

However the last two seasons have been Forbath's worst kicking extra points, as he was 11/14 in 2016 with the Vikings and 34 of 39 in 2017 with the Saints.

Daniel Carlson is a rookie, 23 year old kicker the Vikings took in the fifth round of the 2018 draft who only survived two games before getting the axe.

Carlson was 1/4 on field goals, but made all six extra point attempts.

Interesting names to say the least.
