Through eight weeks the Arizona Cardinals sit with the fifth pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, due to their 2-6 record.
On pace for only four wins, when you break down the second half schedule you see a glimmer of hope, but also the horrors of an offensive assault looming from their opponents.
That’s the question, with the schedule looking the way it does, how do you see the Arizona Cardinals back half of the season playing out?
Let’s take a look.
Week 10 - @ Kansas City Chiefs (7-1)
The best offense in the NFL will offer a test to see where Steve Wilks defense is on their journey to being competitive.
Chiefs 31 Cardinals 17
Week 11 - vs Oakland Raiders (1-6)
Can the Cardinals out tank the Raiders? The difference? I don’t think the Cardinals are trying to tank, they just are not very good. The Raiders want to lose.
Cardinals 27 Raiders 18
Week 12 - @ Los Angeles Chargers (5-2)
This is the one I am circling as the potential Arizona Cardinals stealing a win. The Chargers are a good team, but they don’t always play up to their potential. I still think LA wins, but I am not just giving it to them.
Chargers 24 Cardinals 20
Week 13 - @ Green Bay Packers (3-3-1)
If Aaron Rodgers is walking, I am not betting on the Cardinals.
Packers 28 Cardinals 19
Week 14 - vs Detroit Lions (3-4)
The second and final win I am predicting on the season, spoiler alert.
Cardinals 26 Lions 21
Week 15 - @ Atlanta Falcons (3-4)
This is the other game I am closely watching. If it was in Arizona, I predict a win, but the Falcons have been bad defensively due to a lot of injuries.
Falcons 29 Cardinals 21
Week 16 - vs Los Angeles Rams
Yeah, maybe they have the NFC locked up, so they rest Jared Goff and Todd Gurley... Maybe.
Rams 37 Cardinals 20
Week 17 - @ Seattle Seahawks
This is another tough one, but a new regime, can they carryover some of the Bruce Arians and Carson Palmer magic?
Seahawks 23 Cardinals 21
