As part of SB Nation’s Rivalry Week, we at Revenge of the Birds asked our readers through the FanPulse survey platform about which team is the Arizona Cardinals’ top rival. The results, while not surprising, are interesting nonetheless.

No team is even within striking distance of the Arizona Cardinals biggest rivals, the Seattle Seahawks.
Since going into the NFC West in 2002 when the NFL realigned to eight divisions with four teams in each division, the Cardinals are 14-18-1 against the Seahawks.
Since the Ken Whisenhunt era, which can be marked as the turnaround point for the Cardinals franchise, the team is 11-11-1 against the Seahawks, showing the rivalry is even in terms of head-to-head. The question truly becomes, are you a rival in terms of overall results?
You wonder how the feelings would be amongst older Cardinals fans who were around during the Cardinals days in the NFC East.
I don’t think there is a single bigger win in the franchises history then beating the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs. That was the catalyst to the Cardinals staying in town, building the stadium and getting to where they are now.
However, it’s been 16 years and only nine games against, so it makes sense.
The combined 35% against the Rams and 49ers shows there has not been the same type of vitriol against those teams as fans experience against the Seahawks.
