It has been such a bad season for the Arizona Cardinals, but also, one that has been plagued by injuries.
It is not just key players injured either, while the team has dealt with injuries to Mike Iupati, Justin Pugh, D.J. Humphries all along the offensive line, not to mention losing A.Q. Shipley before the season even started.
Now, you can add another offensive lineman to the body count, as Jeremy Vujnovich was placed on IR with a hamstring issue.
In his stead, the Cardinals have brought back a familiar face, as Will Holden will rejoin the team, as they re-signed the former Cardinals fifth round pick.
From the team:
Holden (6-7, 312) played in seven games (five starts) with the Cardinals last season after being drafted by Arizona in the fifth-round (157th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Vanderbilt. He was released by the Cardinals following the preseason on September 2 and spent time on the practice squads of the Colts and Saints prior to being released by New Orleans yesterday.
Holden will wear jersey #69.
Good luck to Holden in his newest stint with the team, and good health and a speedy recovery to Vujnovich.
