Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Rams second half thread

The Cardinals trail 21-9 at the half.

That was an interesting first half.

The Arizona Cardinals took a 3-0 lead, have not been back ahead, but found a way to put up nine points on the board.

If not for having the wrong kicker, again, good work Keim, maybe they have 13 points on the board.

Nevertheless, it is only 21-9 Rams over the Cardinals at the half.

The highlight, Larry Fitzgerald threw his first career touchdown pass, a beautiful 32-yard pass to David Johnson that cut the lead to 14-9, Zane Gonzalez missed the extra point.

Defensively, the Cardinals got one big play in the game, a sack fumble by Jared Goff on a Benson Mayowa sack, but mostly, it’s been bad.

The Rams are moving the ball at will, behind newly signed C.J. Anderson, who has 92 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries.

The Cardinals have done more than expected offensively, but they’ve given up 139 yards rushing in the game, which has been a problem.

Here’s to a strong second half.
