Larry Fitzgerald throws for touchdown, as Arizona Cardinals lose 31-9 to Los Angeles Rams

The Arizona Cardinals were blown out at home by the LA Rams.

One week left.

That’s all we have to deal with the Arizona Cardinals 2018 NFL season.

After a nice start and a 3-0 lead, the Cardinals were outscored 31-6 throughout the rest of the game, and mostly embarrassed by the Los Angeles Rams for the fourth consecutive game.

It’s like they’re still having to pay for the comments of Bruce Arians.

Their rookie quarterback was just beaten and bloodied again, getting sacked four times, three by likely Defensive Player of the Year Aarond Donald, and hit an additional seven times. Rosen dropped back only 27 times on the day.

Rosen displayed some strong athleticism though, rushing four times for 49 yards.

The highlight of the game was obviously the Larry Fitzgerald to David Johnson touchdown pass.

It was one of two highlights for the Cardinals veteran.

The other… his shenanigans with Pam Oliver on the sidelines.

In the game, we saw the Cardinals rush defense again embarrassed, giving up 269 yards rushing to the Rams, lead by newly acquired C.J. Anderson’s 167 yards.

The Cardinals have given up 522 yards rushing the last two games.

Nothing else really matters the last two weeks, outside of that stat.

It explains why the Cardinals will fire Steve Wilks at seasons end. They can’t keep someone who came in with the mantra of running the ball and stopping the run and be historically bad at both.

The final was 31-9, if this was it for Larry Fitzgerald at home, thank you for one last memory.
